Where to stay in Prague?
The most popular Prague neighbourhoods for tourists are Old Town, New Town and Lesser Town. All must see sights are in those three districts. Old Town is the best choice for clubs and pubs, Lesser Town is rather quiet at night. New doesn’t mean modern in case of New Town. The New Town is historical part of Prague from 14th century. While choosing New Town keep in mind that there are ‘gentlemen’ only clubs, casinos and prostitution on Wenceslas square so it is better to avoid this part of the district.

If you would rather choose some alternative and “cooler” districts than the most touristy historical ones, go for Žižkov, Vinohrady or Letná.

we are going to drive to europe this summer and would like a bit of info for czech rep we want to visit kutna hora prague and czesky raj before we drive to wroclaw. we only want to visit prague for the day as im not big on large towns or cities. where would be the best place to stay in that would enable us to take a train to prague and a short drive to czesky raj and a day trip by car or train to kutna hora also what are the best caves to visit. also im having real problems finding a hotel website for hotels in czesky raj i found 1 called centraleuropetravel but the hotels are all given a number and not a name. also we dont mind camping in czesky raj as we will have a tent with us. thankyou
